Effective January 5, 2026, the Department of Tax and Collections will no longer collect for the Superior Court of Santa Clara County. If you were receiving restitution payments, please call 408-326-1007 for the last payment information. DTAC will be providing a transition statement with the balance in mid-January.
The new collection agency is Alliance One. Alliance One will not be able to provide updates to any accounts until the first week of February 2026.
During this transition, any payments due in January will not be considered late if paid in February. Please check the Court’s website https://www.scscourt.org after January 16, 2026, for any updates.

The County of Santa Clara, Department of Tax and Collections is pleased to be able to offer you the convenience of making secured online payments using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, debit card or ECheck. The online payment center is administered by FIS PayDirect. To use this service a fee will be assessed by FIS PayDirect at the time of payment and no part of this fee goes to the County. Therefore no part of the service fee is refundable. We encourage you to print and save your receipt. You will receive an email confirmation when paying your bill online if you provide an email address. IMPORTANT: It is the cardholder’s responsibility to know whether they are paying using a credit card or debit card. Payments by debit cards or ECheck payments inadvertently used instead of a credit card payment will not be cancelled nor intercepted by the Department of Tax and Collections or FIS PayDirect to permit re-payment by credit card. If paying by checking/savings account please confirm account number and bank transit number before submitting payment. Any payment that is not honored by your bank for any reason (including incorrect bank account or transit number) may be subject to a nonsufficient funds fee.
